TeamSnap Review 2026: Pricing, Pros & Cons

TeamSnap is a very good team app: schedules, availability, rosters and messaging that coaches and parents already know. For a baseball or softball league, the league-level tools are quoted, not published, and the core of the product is the team, not the league. If you need registration, standings, brackets and a league site for free, a league-first tool fits better.

What TeamSnap Is

TeamSnap has two sides. Single teams start free in the team app, and coaches can upgrade to unlock availability tracking, larger rosters and drills. Clubs and leagues buy an organization platform with registration, payments, roster building, schedules, organization-wide communication and built-in live streaming.

It covers many sports: baseball, softball, basketball, football, hockey, lacrosse, soccer and volleyball, and says it is used by over 19,000 sports organizations.

TeamSnap Pricing

Single teams start at $0 and can upgrade; the upgrade price is not on the pricing page. Clubs and leagues get "flexible, customized pricing" through a chat or demo, so there is no number to compare until you talk to sales.

What It Does Well

  • A polished team app most coaches and parents already have
  • Availability tracking and family messaging are excellent
  • Works across many sports in one organization
  • Free to start for a single team

Where It Falls Short

  • League and club pricing is quote-only
  • Built around the team; league standings, brackets and umpires are not the focus
  • The team upgrade price is not published on the pricing page
  • Not baseball-specific: no ballpark-style scoring or bracket tools for diamonds

Keep TeamSnap If

  • Your coaches mostly need team messaging and availability
  • You run several sports under one organization
  • Families already live in the TeamSnap app

Look Elsewhere If

  • You run a baseball or softball league and want it free to run
  • You need standings, tournament brackets and an umpire schedule
  • You want to know the price before a sales call

TeamSnap FAQ

How much does TeamSnap cost?

On its pricing page in October 2026, single teams start at $0 with a paid upgrade, and clubs and leagues get custom pricing through a chat or demo. TeamSnap does not publish the league price.

Is TeamSnap good for baseball leagues?

It is a strong team app, and many baseball teams use it. League operations such as standings, brackets, umpire schedules and a league website are where a baseball-specific league tool does more.

How do I move my league off TeamSnap?

Export your rosters and schedules as spreadsheets and send them to us. We rebuild the league for you at no charge; there is no direct TeamSnap integration.
